Who we are

Practical consulting arborists. Considered counsel.

We started this small family business in 2017 with a simple intention: to provide honest, ethical and practical arboricultural advice for managing trees. We've got our hands on the tree before we put pen to paper.

Our work serves local and state government, civil contractors and private clients across South East Queensland, from a single tree in a backyard through to large sub-divisions. Whatever the scale, the standard is the same: defensible reasoning, plainly stated.

What we do

Reports and advice you can build on

Three core services delivering practical, clear advice grounded in current best practice, supported by a comprehensive range of reports tailored to your project's needs.

Project Arborist

We supervise and guide works conducted around protected trees and provide the certification councils require, managing tree protection zones, hold points and on-site compliance from demolition to handover.

Arboricultural Impact Assessment

The report councils ask for as part of the development process, detailing impacts to trees within and adjacent to a project boundary. From a backyard shed near a protected tree through to large developments and sub-divisions.

Tree Risk Assessments

We assess trees for risk and offer practical mitigation measures. Typically for high-use areas like schools and public spaces, but just as readily for a single tree in someone's backyard.

How we work

Tree-side first. Then the report.

The practice is grounded in fieldwork, observation and measurement before it is anything else. Here's how an engagement typically runs.

STEP 01

Brief & site context

We talk through your project, the trees involved and the council requirements, then confirm scope and a fixed quote.

STEP 02

Field assessment

On site, we assess the tree or trees and collect detailed attribute data to support accurate reporting.

STEP 03

Analysis & reporting

We compile a clear, defensible report: observations, what they mean, and recommended actions, in that order.

STEP 04

Supervision & support

Where required, we supervise works within protection zones and liaise with your design team and the council.
